lol i think it's funny as hell, cost $0.00, less weight, if it works for you guys go for it. But i guess add a small turn pipe pointing on the ground is better if someone here say it'll heat up the trunk.

and has any one said it sounds GREAT!

haha

i did it to mine and my car stayed that way for 2 days.
dang the first night, i was driving home with it and a CIVIC rolled up next to me...

he wined up his lawn mower that sounds like it had a muffler installed
its sounded like- reeHH rehHHH

and i tap the gas pedal just a tiny bit, my baby GROWed like it just ate a civic just a moment ago from another stoplight! hhaha vROM vrom!

i had some awesome time with it until i thought it was just a bit too loud and i didnt want to risk being caught by one of the billion flocks of cops around here...

the throttle response was quicker, and it revs a lot more willingy than stock.

yeah, thats it until i got my hks... I love my hks!

holy crap.. and here I thought I was the first one to unbolt the exhaust on my tC the sound is great! it sounds like a hotrod or something the way it gurgles when it idles.. the only part I don't like about it is that nasty choking noise when you turn the car off.. anyone know how to fix this noise? at first I thought it was the two flanges rattling against each other but i spaced them apart so they wouldn't touch

My friend and I just unbolted my muffler, took around 20 minutes to undo it. We had to lube each rubber joint a couple times while we wigggled the muffler to free it. well when we finally got it done we went down to the elementary school down the road and drove around the parking lot, and it sounds really good just a little to loud. So we came back and lubricated the joints bolted every thing back to gether in like four minutes. Fun thing to do but I would highly recomend making a pipe to go from the mid pipe out the back of the car(like to where the stock tip goes), so you don't damage anything under the car.

I unbolted mine on christmas eve, sounded like a WRX/SRT4 Mix... use a screwdriver to pry the rubber hangers out. Its cake.

No just a socket wrench, It takes a little muscle to loosen the bolts. I used lube on the rubber hangers not the bolts, the hangers take some time and agood amount of lube to get off and they go back on easy just remeber to lube the rubber hangers again to make it easier.

I did it too for a good month. Lost ALL of my low end torque but it sounded kinda cool at WOT. Got annoying during regular driving and on an automatic it sounded like crap cause of the shifting lol.
