yeah.. the MMW header is a work of art... it is a shame to put them on and have them change color.. i do have some thing that is suppose to remove the discoloration... i tried it on my ss s-pipe and it seems to work... i did it on a small area so.. im not sure how it will work on a larger area though...

Stainless steel naturally changes color with heat. It should change to a nice golden color. Sometimes you will see some headers change a bluish purple color on some spots. This is due to contaminants on the header before the first heat cycle. When installing your header, be sure to clean it with some rubbing alcohol before you start the engine up for the first time. This will keep the header clean and prevent the blue and purple spots.

You will no longer have a polished finish with the Jet Hot coating process.

Well, what the hack is MMW ? How come Google doesn't return any reasonable result for "MMW RACE HEADER" search? What does it stand for? Who makes it? Where did you buy it from?

MMW stands for Monster MotorWorks also go by Weapon R. I got it from creativecompacts.com aka promotiontuning.

Hey Ray (Weapon R), you got a lot of compliments from my local Rotor-heads. First time I went to a rotor meet with the headers on.

If you know rotor-heads, you know were all tuning geeks to the n'th power, and most of us are engineers or mechanics. One of my buddies who originally offered to build me a custom header and makes them for 13B race engines, said "this was the best header he's seen on any "4-banger tuner". They loved the huge manifold plate.

I've said before it's good construction, just wanted to reinforce it with some input from the "hard to please".

Thanks for the praise , that's what makes this job worth coming to! I know just how rotor-heads are, and it's good to hear they like our stuff.
