Default Want to buy Headers

I want to buy the DC Sports Header for my car but I don't know where to order them from? Any good reliable places I can order from?

Have you looked around anywhere? Found any prices to start with?

Any reason you're looking specifically for the DC Sports?

they seem to be one of the least expensive and it looks ok in gains.

I would buy the MMW but its a bit too expensive.

Well you also have to consider that the MMW comes with the spipe.

And I don't think I'd really look for the cheapest for engine parts. I realize you're probably on a budget, but if you can't get the one you really want, don't settle for something else b/c it's cheaper.

This one is relatively new, but looks promising:

At least as another option.

So are the DC bad headers?

What exactly does the S-pipe do? Will I get more gains?

Anyone have any good sites for Headers?

The DC is a good header, best available value (around $300) that's been independently dyno'ed and installed by many here on SL. Ceramic coated and has best midrange HP gains.

To get one I would recommend Stripper Motorsports. (Their photo is generic but the part number is correct.) Shop around if you want, if you find a better price they will match it.

You don't need an s-pipe unless you just HAVE to go full 2.5" exhaust, which is unnecessary unless you're going F/I. Yes the s-pipe is bent up and actually shrinks to 2" i.d. at the reducer, but your money is better spent replacing the TRULY restrictive parts of your exhaust - the stock exhaust manifold and muffler.

I think I've decided and Im going to go with the MMW Header. (buying it from wesellcarparts. reliable?)

How hard is it to install the Header and S-pipe? Should I also buy the CEL eliminator for $25?

Oh and when I take my car to emissions what am i going to have to change back so I can pass? I will have an Intake, Exhaust, Header, and the S-pipe on the car.

GL with your MMW's The hardest part of the install is getting the nuts off the head where the header holds onto and getting the brackets off as the very bottom the hold the stock header on the bottom of the block. A hammer, ratchet set, and a pair of vice grips and you'll be good to go I have the DC sports and love them, got them and the Invidia s-pipe all together for 400, you will def need a CEL eliminator b/c you will throw one as soon as you start the car up with out one. If you don't want to mess with the antifouler trick this guy is selling a modded version that works wonderfully, originally made for the Invidia s-pipe but we enlighten him it will work on any of them LOL. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...r=asc&&start=0 Oh, noticed you live in Sparks NV, wheres that at?

EDIT: If you end up crossthreading your o2 sensors I've got my two stocks in perfect condition that I'll sell you.

Oh, if you haven't found it yet this thread will help you with your install, https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ad8432cc3d5979

It will help you remove your stock and put the new one in, even if you have the MMW everything is just generally speaking so its a great write up.

Thanks for the links amdforever. I hope I don't end up crossthreading my o2 sensor but I will let you know if I need one.

Sparks is right next to Reno.
