someone asked why try to save weight. the answer may be performance and better MPG.

I'm also looking forwards to see if the stock hood doesn't warp. let us know how it goes, since I don't want to invest in a carbon fiber hood (too much $$ in my opinion)
don't forget the flywheel when it comes to reducing weight.
