so what exactly do they do, and whats the purpose of a voltage stabalizer???? I am in some serious need for some better electricity throught the car....just did a major install of some serious electronic components and cant power them all, my next step is either a second battery or a rebuilt bigger alternator.

on occasion, ground wires or upgrading the big 3 will help cure slight dimming caused by stereo equipment.....look into a bigger alternator

 

How serious are we talking? A bigger/better battery and alternator would provide the power your system needs for serious installs.
