Default What kind of fuel pump should i get?

I have a fully built engine. Port and polished head, Wiseco pistons, sleeved ERL short block, Dezod standalone AEM EMS, 850 CC injectors.

Car has trouble starting, often idles so low it dies. It also smells like its running lean.

90% sure it has a bad tune and talking it somewhere else, but my quesiton is should i get a bigger fuel pump? Also would I be ok with the stock rail?

I want to go with deatschwerks but unsure which would be best.

Deatsch, AEM, Walbro or Aeromotive. All are excellent.

If you want to send me a copy of the calibration I can take a look at it and see if anything pops out in the idle region.

Is that something I can do on my own? The shop that tuned it gave me no paperwork, not even the dyno print out.

Depends on your level of skill and tools available. Many of our customers have done it themselves.

Depends on your goals. If you want at least 450+ then go with Bosch 044.

Like BlackKnight said, which pump you get depends on your power goals. We have two pumps w/ install kits that are specifically for the 05-10 TC. They are the DW200 (255lph PN 9-201s-1006) and the DW300 (340lph PN 9-301s-1006). The DW200 would probably be enough to support the 850cc injectors you're using but that would be pushing it. It would be best to go with the DW300.

LOL it's James actually. Chris has taken on more of a technical support/product development role here so I'm now the main one on the forums. He still browses through every now and then though.

I will tell him you said hi. As for me, I'm just staying busy with all the forums and social networking.

That's good to hear. Hopefully the new pump and re-tune (if you're doing it) helps.
