Default What are some good exhausts?

I already have a TRD exhaust but my friend has a TSUDO N1 catback exhaust and it sounds pretty nice. I was thinking of a TSUDO N1 or some other any good exhausts. What would you recommend?

Depends if you want LOUD or Quiet.

OR if you want a Coffee Can design or OEM style design too.

"Good" is all matter of opinion. If you want loud, have an exhaust shop take out your midpipe and replace it with a straight pipe to eliminate the resonator. Or cut out the TRD muffler and replace it with straight pipe.

As mentioned it is very much a matter of opinion, but I have the TRD axleback with a Megan midpipe and am very happy with it. That's the route I would suggest if you like the tone and look but want it to be a little louder.

Everyone keeps mentioning this Megan midpipe so much. Why tho? Tsudo makes it sound like STi.

It's personal preference as far as which sounds better. I think that the two sound similar but when listening to both I heard a little bit of rasp with the Tsudo. Also, early versions of the Tsudo had fitment issues which is only a concern now if you are buying a used one.

^^ agreed with these guys. its all a matter of personal preference. to be honest im running a trd with a tsudo midpipe and i love the way it sounds it has that sti similar sound to it with this combo i have the v2 midpipe and i had no fitment issues at all. and i just installed a v3 midpipe on a friend of mines car and there was no fitment issues on that ether. i think its hit and miss on the fitment issues with tsudo. but also had the tsudo n1 and tsudo midpipe before the trd and i had the same exact sound i have now. all you need is a midpipe once you do that it will get alot louder, and deeper and sound great.

I mean the N1 sounds better to me than TRD. For the price of a midpipe you can get yourself a whole different exhaust. I can tell you this is the previous owner of my tC was a moron. He installed the pedestal spoiler which looks ugly, installed a subwoofer (bazooka) that I am having problems with getting the bass back because idk which wire to plug in or switch around.

i tried out both combos, i had the tsudo n1 with the tsudo axel back and it sounds perfect!. but i wanted the oem look so i picked up the trd exhaust and it sounds okish, i have rasp after 4.5 WOT, and its also not as deep as the tsudo axel. But im getting a resonator so it should help

There is a sticky at the top of this forum sub section.

It's named "Buyers Guide: Exhausts".

This might help.
