Lightbulb Whats the Perfect Dimensions if I Purchased a Universal Muffler??

Har-ro my People...:D

I was curious what Muffler Dimensions would be "ideal" for a MagnaFlow or Borla universal muffler?...

I want it to be sitting side-ways like stock....Have a DEEP Tone...NO Go-Kart/Weed Wacker sound.

Thanks!

P.S. would going with a Universal Muffler and just having a shop do the Piping be Cheaper vs. Buying an Axle-back already made?

Choose your poison! I'd recommend the one at the top of the list with a Magnaflow muffler. They only let out a slight grumble and there is definitely no weedwhacker to it at all.

The TRD exhaust is basically a rebadged Borla canister. For the deep grumble Greg I had my stock resonator replaced with the shortest one Magnaflow makes. It made my TRD have a deeper exhaust note.

The TRD alone is quite loud and "ricey" IMO. Everyone has different tastes but that is the one I like least of all. Although, I heard one sound clip on you-tube where a guy used all Megan parts from header back with a TRD and it sounded like a WRX. It's up to you man. Just you-tube some sound clips until you find what you like.

yeah that was ray's car and it did sound pretty nice, although it did drone quite a bit inside the cabin at freeway cruising speed. to each their own but i love my trd.
