Who makes SRI's for the tc???

I know Injen does, but I dont want the 2 in 1 deal. I think Weapon-R does but after all the negative reviews I have heard of their products, they have been crossed off my list. I hope these aren't the only two options.

what do you mean by that? are you suggesting buying the filter top and attaching it to the stock pipe? would I get the same results as a SRI?

ooo, but I would still be getting the same results as a SRI? so the colored tube that comes with the SRI is really just to decorate your engine bay?

BTW ... Thanks man, you have been really helping me out, especially on my other led post. No one else seems to give a shiit about a newb.

colored tube? the metal tubing? ehh... actually that metal is more vulnerable to heat soak... so using the crappy stock plastic piping to the throttle body is better imo.

however... any sri is still going to be susceptible to pulling in hot air from the engine bay. unless you rig a cold air box of some sort...

The air box is completely removed if I try this method, right? your last sentence (cold air box) can you describe ... or is there a post on this. I'll use the search if there is, besides you've put up with me long enough.

^^ something used to protect the SRI from sucking up hot air from the engine bay.. a barrier of some sort.. a box... something something..

anyone know the measurements of the stock tube? so I should simply buy the (fattest/longest) filter top (as long as it fits) to get the best gains?
