say F it and get a greddy E-Manage like I will and tune it to override the stupid POS CEL that I cant get rid of even with the antifouler. Yes, it makes me that mad that I will spend the 400 bucks on an emanage.

E-manage does not remove the cat failure POS.

 

So what's the final note on this? What do you use when you put a header/downpipe on to take care of the CEL without messing up the fuel/air mixture?

 

i was told if you have the stock header with the cat in it, or just any cat, knock out a piece of catalyst and cut it to fit inbetween the antifouler part. screw them back togther and reinstall. im in the midst of getting a cat to try this, but to me it sounds kind of misleading.

 

that doesn't sound like a good idea, I wouldn't spend the money on another cat.
