Default will shortram help with exhaust rasp?

need help quick!! got the dc sports axle-back which sounds great at idle and full throttle. however, when accelerating in everday driving, i get a rather embarassing rasp....( honda civic with fart-can attached) sound. anyone with this combo that has any advice. thanks.

You running an AM header?

Rasp is all exhaust, so an intake won't do anything to help you really.... the only hope is probably a resonator added onto your exhaust system...

Maybe some others may have ideas.....

I have injen intake alphawerks header and trd exaust. I originally had the injen CAI on then switched to the short ram for the rainy season and seriously switching made no difference to the exaust sound at all. All it did was make my intake not as loud. So no switching to short ram will not help you sorry.
