not up on scion warrantys. will a intake, header, and fully custom exhaust void the warranty?

 

If its not TRD parts and not installed by a toyota tech it'll most likely void your warranty...

 

ok..here i go.. pay attention!

so when i first got the tc it was teh first in my area, i had t for about 1 month and it was dropped on tein s-tech's,injen sri,and a driver fx drag race exhaust wit hno cats and my alphawerk header. so i went into the toyota dealer and they were all amazed becaus eit wa sthe first tc in teh area "hooked" up.so i was gettin a oil change..when i went to pick it up they cancelled my warranty........the $hit is the roof!

i agrued and argued for about an hour...an dthe owner is my buddy;s uncle so he knew me already......but i was like listen all teh cars i have hooked up was new and i have always been told if you do somethin to the car and if something happens to the car DUE to the part that was changed then you could possibly void your warranty!..so he said he would look into it...

2 days later i get a phone call from toyota them self's..my warranty was reinstated!...so if you do anything to your car it is ok but if somethin happens then you could loose your warranty..

and now im sponsored by toyota/scion dealer near me and they sai dif anything goes wrong they would take care of me anyways!....so i hope this helps an dwasnt to long to read just want everyone to be there own person and do waht they want with there scion's and not be scared..lol...
