You may have messed up your MAF sensor. Did you try and unplug the battery for a couple mins to reset the ECU?? Do you have a check engine light?? I assume you do and my guess is to get the code of codes read and find out what they are. Anyways good luck and hopefully your car will be up and running soon.

Make sure...

1- Your Mass Airflow Sensor, the one you had to screw into the Injen Intake is completely plugged in, and that the connection is good. I know with my Injen, the MAF barely makes it to where it's mounted, the wires aren't long enough, i had to pull it a little, you might have pulled a wire loose, just check.

2- That you removed the plastic bag from around the outside of the Filter. :-)

3- That you unplugged the battery for 15-20 minutes, then plug it back in, and start the car. AND LET IT IDLE. NO REV'ING for a good 5 minutes. Let the computer learn without you whomping on it.

4- If none of those work, remove the MAF from the intake tube and make sure that you didn't damage the sensors on the part that goes on the inside of the tube. Those little guys are delicate.

5- Put the stock intake back on it, and call your dealer. :-)

I agree with Oliver if this doesnt work revert back to stock and then get the dealer on the phone... redo everything check it carefully as you redo it, and do not beat on it run it for a few and see what happens.. Good Luck.

if you said you put the stock intake back in then it could be the maf sensor. everything else was put back on but that is used for both intakes and you have the same problem with both.

you're right it should be the sensor.. because both of the intakes had the same problem... but it jus started with the aftermarket.... but is the sensor problem causing.. my motor to sound more shaky and loud... and just stop the car over 3rpms?

like someone suggested you might have yanked a wire loose. i have a k&n and maf sensor wire could probably use a little more length but it does make it there. it might mount a little farther away on the injen.

If this is truely the worst day of your life then you have had a very sheltered existance

If this is the worst car day you have had, that is another story but still pretty tame to what most have gone through at one time or another.

Either way, whatever the cause there is an answer and it is not going to be that tough or expensive to fix, just listen the great advice here and do not panic;)

if your MAF sensor doesnt sense air flow. then it will natrually die. period.

i tested this. i took out the sensor and started my car. it bog and went dead immediately.

and make sure ur MAF isnt backwards or if anything is covering it hahah
