Would an Apexi SAFC help the tC at all?
I know alot of subaru guys use these, and my brother had one on his Integra GSR...
would these be of any help to us tC guys running aftermarket intakes and exhausts? Any different from the Camcon? Any idea how these would hook up to a tC?
Thanks!

these are alot like the camcon but not at the same time they piggy back your ecu this one adjust sensors sutch as the O2 sensor to adjust a/f ratios but it has a large down side copaired to the camcon in that it doesnt alow you to adjust your cames for the price of this go with the camcon although the safc looks alot nicer
and i am in no way trying to say apexi products are no good i meen look at my sig

they're probably the mildest tuning devices available... most people are using the safc2 to do small amounts of tuning on oem turbo cars (dsm's and such) but if you're staying naturally aspirated and want the most power, go with the camcon
the SAFC2 is a fuel adjustment device. on a NA car with mild mods, you dont need the amout of fuel adjustability it provides. this device is beneficial if you've already upgraded injectors, fuel pump, and other fuel delivery components. turbo cars get more use out of it to adjust fuel delivery with increased boost. i had one on my SR-powered 240sx. its a great product, but overkill for tC with basic bolt-ons.
I recommend HKS' AFR Type L for basic bolt-ons.

Quoted from their site:
The HKS AFR is a fuel-adjustment device that regulates the air/fuel ratio by changing the airflow voltage output to the vehicles factory computer. The AFR was designed for vehicles that are lightly tuned (intake, exhaust system, etc.) and need only slight fuel adjustment. The 12 setting adjustment indicator allows the user to enrich or lean the stock fuel settings by approximately 1.0 A/R point in either direction (richer or leaner). Type-L is designed for vehicles that utilize an air flow meter.
I dont know exactly what a Camcon does for vvti engines.

we carry them. We also carry the APEX RSM (Rev/Speed Meter) from "aarontrini85" signature
