First mounting attempt=fail... the output shaft is to small it just spins...#2 flywheel is to thin so I ordered an new TC one and we will see if I can mod that one... I think I may be able to faten up the output shaft though with a bigger bearing from an auto rav 4we ll .lol..

so since I have both bell housings gutted I think I might try and mod shaft on the TC housing to see of I can fit the XRS gears in there (just a side though for when It gets a bit colder out again and I have to work inside... but god that would be nice if it worked

thats awesome that ur really giving it a shot! if u could let me know what all u had to do to it to make it work id really appreciate it, and the shop i was talkin to can take that info and try and put together some kits possibly...

Its good to see someone try.

Now post some pictures of the endeavor. Since it has never been done, it would be nice to see tons of pictures in this thread.

ur the man....try to get in contact with the old zpi guys who were in the process of making one...and see what they had in mind...

ok so theres another problem... The short shifter and housing needs to be modified.. I need to make an adaptor plate in order to bolt it down... the entire linkage needs to be chaged...... thats crappy... im so upset... the machinest should have the output shaft back to me today... soo looking promising

u cant just take the tc tranny and just add a sixth gear to it?

nope the ouput shaft is not long enough.. the flywheel doesnt fit ... the linkage is diffrent..the mounting brackets are diffrent.. im using the 6 speed guts in the 5 speed housing but I have to get it all back together and bolted up to see if it will even move

can someone help me find the right seal for god sake.. its about the scion one is 2mm to small and the other one is about 3mm to wide...... uggggggg im so mad
