Default ZPI--Questions on the Stage 1 Turbo Kit--Please Help

It seems easier to get ahold of you guys via posting than e-mail, so here are my questions:

1. Is it possible to get the internal wastegate for the stage 1 kit and not dump the
extra 40 whp like if I were to dump the external one back into the exhaust?

2. Why did the price of the stage 1 kit go up so much ($4,550) on your site?

3. Do you guys give military discounts? If so how much for the Stage 1 with
the discount?

Feel free to PM me if you don't want to display the answers on the site.

On another note congrats on getting the kits out again!

1) internal wastegate and where it dumps are 2 completely different things. you will want the external routed into the exhaust (it sounds like to me)

1. all kits will come with an external wastegate, unless you ask for an internal
2. the preorder pricing is over, i believe they only offer retail or msrp pricing now.
3. not sure about the discount, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

You can route either an internal or external either back into the exhaust or dumping it externally.

At this time we do only offer the kit with an external. It can be routed back into the downpipe but there is an extra fee for this. We may offer a internal at a later date or make the external an option, we gave all preorders a external and at this time we do not want to have to redesign anything.

We moved the kits back to retail pricing. Pre-order is over and by the end of the month all pending orders will be filled and kits will be able to ship upon ordering no waiting

We do offer a military discount, shoot us a pm or email for validation. Military discount is 10% off.

I understand the kits ZPI is putting out right now has an external wastegate, but they originally said way back when that the Stage 1 would come with an internal wastegate. The external was given originally as incentive for the kit being late. I have already asked ZPI about dumping the external wastegate into the exhaust and was told it dropped 40WHP!

The preorder pricing was around $3400, and the price is now $4550! That's a pretty steep increase all of the sudden, so that's why I asked to validate it.

The military discount is only a hope or prayer because I am not making that much bank being in the military, and I missed preorders because of this deployment I am on right now! Hell, I didn't even have the time to buy the TC I test drove before I had to leave! You can't blame me for trying to get the discount though right?

where the wastegate is dumped has nothing to do with power loss or gain. having it routed back into the exhaust will quiet things down tremendously at WOT. i wouldnt do it though, sounds too dirty dumping straight down.... shoots some neat little flames too
