Default ZPI Scion ShootOut Vids!

Finally, I have been able to view some of the footage from the Scion ShootOut. Here are just some minor vids while I work on the compliation one with music, images, and vid all in one.

check these out, they should tickle your fancy.

Virgin Burnout (it comes naturally)

$100k Maserati vs. ZPI Silver tC (you know, the one that everyone claimed rigged the STI race.... )

Turbonetics powered tC vs. TRD S/C powered tC

Disclamer:I am not responsible for the outcome of these races. If you feel disappointed/upset/nauseated at the fact that the car you were rooting for LOST, then I am sorry(I take that back, I'm NOT SORRY), and you should have gotten your LAZY A$$ off the couch, got in your car and came down to the ShootOut to represent the Forced Induction Company of your choice!

The people that were able to make it....KUDOS to you for traveling through ThunderStorms, Hail, Rain, 40 degree temp. weather and ACTUAL Tornado's the day before the event.

PS...The track was for the most part damp from the rain. The morning of the race, it was still drizzling and cold. Runs were made on the track while somewhat wet. After officials started to dry the track, times dropped. We got help from the Sun around Noon! Then that's when real times started happening.

Thank you very much sir for posting vids.

Its well appriciated. That silver tC is built, theres not question about that. I wonder what it feels like to lose to a $16,000 car....lol

You deserve many kudos for doing this!

I would love to see Dezod vs ZPI hmmmmmmmmmm

By 0.9th of a sec. Times sucked horribly when the track was still wet from the tornado's from the day before the ShootOut. When I get through the rest of the film, I will post up when the track started to dry off, and we got better times afterwards.

Thanks for posting the vids. They were pretty sweet. Im sure it was the track conditions but i was sorta shocked at the S/C tC running a 15.8 =/

Yah the zpi tC is a beast. I remember when they came down to orlando and smoked everyone at the track. Was pretty funny seeing a kentucky tag on it and no one at the track really knowing much about tCs in the first place. Many sti's evo's and rebuilt mustangs were put to rest that night.

We still have a special place in our hearts for the poor little flint mica tC in the shop. It's coming along. Hopefully it'll be running again soon. :D

Should have some more vids either today or tomorrow. I'm going to get some over to Nester@ZPI, so they can host them on their server.

That was great.

Hell, the guy in the ZPI car had twice the RT of the S/C kid, and he still beat him by almost a second.

Nuts.

RT has absolutely no effect on 1/4 mile time. The clock doesn't start until you move. Once the light turns green, you can sit there for a minute and then go. It won't have an impact on your time.
