how is that possible, is it due to driver error, or can all that really happen due to just the track being wet? lmk, cuz i plan to get the s/c...

We all know (even if you dont like the supercharger) that the supercharger CAN run much better than 15.8
But with the wrong driver and wrong conditions, even a ferrari will be slow. A car does not make the man, the man makes the car.

That was my s/c RS1. Everything in my drivetrain is still stock, including intake, header, exhaust, and the clutch. Only thing I changed out was an upgrade to a Bosch 110 Sport BPV. My clutch was slipping really bad. Halfway down the track, when trying to get into third, I saw the rpms climb, but the car wasn't moving any faster. Same thing in 4th gear. It was my first time at the track and i was a lil disappointed in the results too, so I let my friend in the s/c and N2O xA drive it down the track. He was able to get a 15.2. We were able to get in the mid-90s for MPH
My car was dyno'ed the next day on the Dyno Dynamics and got 164 whp (184 with their correction factor to get a DynoJet #).

What were your 60' times and 1/8th mile on your best run?

^^All vids are of the same day, same conditions. My g/f is the one who averaged 15.1 times. I averaged 15.3. But when we first started racing, times were horrible. I'm talking like 16sec times when it was wet.
i want the zpi turbo too.. but then i remember that im in cali and its not possible for me
s/c is good enough for me, its not like i am gonna drag it every week or something, this is my DD..so i want reliablity without havin to make sure everything is cool every day

These videos are awesome. ZPI once again proving whos top dog. Now on that zpi silver tC, when right after he finished his burnout and comes to the starting line, what was that winding down noise? was it the sound of the turbo slowing down from all the boost it had during the burnout?

Don't blame me on not getting it. I wasn't there to videotape everything, I was there to enjoy myself. As for not posting the video of your time Mike, it's not because we don't want people to see that your faster. People be patient, it takes time ecspecially when it's my b/f doing the videos. He's a perfectionist.

The track would have been a lot better if it weren't for the rain overnight and if there were a lot more people racing that day. Here's the timeslip for the best run in my car:
R/T ----- .088
60' ----- 2.370
330 ----- 6.520
1/8 ------ 9.885
MPH ---- 39.23
1000 --- 12.775
1/4 ----- 15.219
MPH ---- 92.59
The clutch was warmed up by then, but still slipping a lil since we could smell it. I'm sure that 14's are possible without mods, other than a better clutch and some drag radials. I'm going to upgrade a few things and I'll be putting down a lot better numbers. I hope to eventually get in the 13's before too long, but have to work a few things out with my finances first. I'll be working very closely with blown_xA to get my car up to par.

And what's up with the 1/8th trap speed? 39mph?? Was that a typo or is there ANOTHER problem with the time slips at that track?
1.5 60' times, now 39mph 1/8th trap speed.
