Default ZPIracing Customer Feedback*****we need your help

We need your help!!! With the success of our others products and the not so successful sales of our S-pipe back exhaust we need to know what needs to be changed. We know a lot of our customers are on this site so we want your opinion. Below are some ideas that we have let us know what you think. Brutal honesty is okay here…

Leave the design alone but add a resonator to eliminate the rasp.
Change the design so the muffler is not visible
Redesign it so that there is a stock type muffler in the rear
Offer it with a hi-flow cat
Offer a aluminized version to bring the cost down

These are just a few of the ideas we have been playing with. We would really like your opinion even if you already have an exhaust.

We would also like everyone’s thoughts about the intercooler piping on our turbo kit. Do you like the piping through the bumper or prefer that it is hidden.

Thanks for your time

Offering it with a high flow cat would be a plus, but that wouldn't bring down the cost, Even if you offered an alluminized version, most buyers will opt for the higher quality stainless steel. The thing is.. What makes your kit stand out from all the others out there that are far cheaper? R your dynos pretty much similar to all the other exhausts out there except with more parts and labor to install to go along with the higher price tag? C'mon you are business people do some business.

The magnaflow cat-back exhaust is 440 dollars. The Creative Compacts Complete exhaust kit wich includes a high flow cat and your choice of mufflers is 414.00. On your site it shows a base msrp of 695.00 if I am not mistaken. With the gains from the even the axle backs being comprable to your kit and being 300 dollars cheaper... you tell me. Wich would you buy? Also to get power gains greater than other exhaust kits out in the market you would need to add your S pipe wich brings your exhaust kit close to 1grand.... 14 dollars must go a long way in Kentucky.

Make something that can is s pipe back that can fit the aftermarket axle backs available already. I think that would be a good seller. Just an idea.

I would get it if a cat was made available, a biiiiig resonator added, if the muffler was tucked into the bumper and invisible unless looking under, and finally if the tip comes out straight and not angled. I prefer a canister style but can do without if the gains are good.

However, you don't have to listen to me at all as I'm still not even in the market for this product unless you want to lower the sale price to where you'd be losing money, I'm sure.

Also, I bet making just a 60mm or 2.5" mid pipe with a resonator will make a bit of money. A lot of people with axlebacks want to complete their exhaust systems.

for me the reason i didnt get your exhaust was another s pipe exhaust that came out was cheaper, and quite frankly was more talked about, i didnt see much about your exhaust system (although i did hear about it ) on these threads, and i think your exhaust kinda got overlooked by alot of your other products ,s pipe, pulley ,stage 1 head, and especially the turbo kit

Straight tip definately. I am about to purchase a new exhaust and the only reason I wouldnt get the ZPI is the angled tip. I really like all the other products you guys carry, hope to have a few installed before long.

ive got the tC ZPI exhaust and i think its bad a$s. the only problem i have with the exhuast is that its not full stainless like you guys make it out to be. its stainless pipes, with MIG welded mild steel hangers and flanges and the flanges painted aluminum or something.

ive had the exhaust on my car for a while and havent posted up a review on it. i think its the best sounding exhuast for a tC that already has a header on it. If the car doesnt have a header the exhaust sounds AMAZING, WRXesque.

I put the exhaust on when i only had an intake and i immediately felt the gains up top with little to no loss down low. however, when i put the DC header on my car i felt a huge loss in low end, i guess becuase the DC is a 4-1 designed for up top performance gains and so is the ZPI exhaust. the ZPI exhuast with the DC header is super loud too, and the gains up top with the loss down low doesnt warrant the use of the DC header with this exhuast.

I sold my DC header shortly after becuase WR recieved a very small batch of full race 4-2-1 headers. after installing the header i noticed immediately that the low end was restored and when i punched it i had a huge gain throughout the band. the ZPI exhaust sounds good with the WR header also. i couldnt be more pleased with it. for being catless and resonatorless the exhaust system sounds awesome. it backfires sometimes too. gotta watch out for the cops hehe.

but yea, props to ZPI for making a great header back exhuast. ive gotten many compliments on the exhuast. its not for everyone though. some people may want that sleeper look. i dont

if you guys update the design... anyway we can do an exchange program + some money? hahahahaha

IC Piping hidden! Looks ghetto-fied sticking out the bumper - or at least like it wasn't designed to fit.

I would have taken the s pipe/exhaust if I were to have received it sooner. I usually hated low canister/angled tips, but for some reason, I really dug this exhaust.

This would be a hot seller! Just a replacement midpipe. 2.5" and high flow cat with a big resonator. I'd buy one right away.
The problem is so many people have invested in the TRD exhaust or other axleback. We need a mid-pipe that will make it sound good with a catless header. Not one company makes this and every other post is about header and axleback. Someone make the connection!!!!

put the muffler and resonator under the car in front of the crossmember in the rear and just have the tip coming straight out in the standard opening.

I would love to see the IC pipes hidden. It looks so ghetto with them sticking out the bumper like that.

wow! i'm surprised at how many of you like hidden intercooler piping...which is totally fine, we can do that...me personally though...i like to let everyone know what they're getting themself into...

i think it's a guy thing to want a sleeper though...it's like cheating....you lure innocent street racers into your little game and then break their hearts that they just got dominated by a scion!
