What I meant, is a higher-flowing piping + resonator from s pipe to where the various axlebacks connect. You see, there are a ton of scion owners who have an axleback and would buy a bolton that htey could connect their existing product on, opening up the rest of the the exhaust and keeping whatever axle back aka muffler they purchased.

Very good idea. If you had something that replaced s-pipe up to where the axle back bolts on, you could sell this pretty well, as ALOT of people have axlebacks at this point.
Sounds like you mean a full exhaust, not an axle back... Axle back would be from the rear axle to the bumper..

ZPI sells a full exhaust system to compliment the ZPI s-pipe.

Make your version 2 rear exhaust pipe start where the TRD exhaust starts! Offer it with the S-pipe, and a mid pipe that can dual purpose with your system and those who have the S-pipes and TRD exhaust systems. It is still a full exhaust you just design it where you can make money off mid-pipes as well (with a resonator!) it would seem to make much more sense to design it this way. You have customers who may just buy the S and the mid if they have the TRD and later they may even upgrade to your axel back. So yes the full header back would be 3 pieces. S-pipe, mid-pipe, axel back.
knock it out of the park by including anti-foulers on the S-pipes with the purchase. Including a cat could be done a different way. Two mid-pipe designs. One with a 24" resonator and the other a 12" resonator and high-flow cat. It may seem like much work but in the end you would HANDS down have the best solutions for all TC owners. I also bet more TRD exhaust are on TC's than any other system and it is not going to stop because it is too EZ to finance with the car and dealers get the first shot on a TC customer.

Just my 2 cents.

QUOTE This would be a hot seller! Just a replacement midpipe. 2.5" and high flow cat with a big resonator. I'd buy one right away.
The problem is so many people have invested in the TRD exhaust or other axleback. We need a mid-pipe that will make it sound good with a catless header. Not one company makes this and every other post is about header and axleback. Someone make the connection!!!!

Mentioned over and over. Just make the new ZPI systems rear section start exactly where the factory and other axel backs start. Then you will have a universal mid-pipe with resonators to sell with your system and seperate. No brainer.

Exhaust - I want an exhaust to sound nice and deep with no rasp. I want it to be a full exhaust with a canister muffler coming stright out the back and not slanted. I want stainless but I think an aluminized one would be nice for some to cut cost. Oh, and most important is to put up big numbers.:D

Intercooler piping - I would love to have mine hidden when I get it but I think some would like to see it so maybe make it either or.

I have the same view - I am looking to go all out and get the turbo, exhaust, and s-pipe. BUT - my car can not look like a riced out ricer. Right now I have the stock exhaust because I honestly do not like any other due to the loudness. When I have people in the car (or a headache....or both), I do not want people having to yell or be bothered by that that loud sound.

Has zpi even responded yet?

we have redesigned the IC pipes so that they are hidden. We have already desgined the mid pipe and sent it to the bender we should have these released soon.

We have decided to leave the exhaust the same as it is as we really like the look of it and it adds more power than any other system out there.

We thank all for there input and support this is the only reason that we are able to do this and we are truly appreciate it.

Does zpi have the performance specs documented so the buyer knows the gains they "should" receive? I am asking this because I want to plan things out but need to know the gains I will come close to if I add certain parts (for example...if I added an intercooler to the stage0 kit).
