More good and bad news from Summit Point WVa.

First the good, PTuning WINS Modified FWD, and places second in Unlimited FWD (behind rado by 2 seconds). We set some blazing fast laps every with the 255's on the car. The Progress Technology Suspension was perfect for the track and their new sway bar helped a TON! The Hawk Performance Brake Pads were superb, and the Sebion hood continued to stay strong!

Now for the bad. I will go into this more later, but I feel that I should announce to the community. On my third Time Attack Lap in the Unlimited group, I messed up, big time. While its all still a blur to me I managed to take the PTuning car down for the count. After the jump I simply got greedy, the car sustained a substantial impact into the tire barrier and concrete wall after the car was ejected from the carousel. After I returned to the paddock, I was greeted by the team and all of them went right past the car and asked how I was.

This is the kind of people PTuning is made of! Not one of them even looked at the car until they were sure I was ok. PTuning has been my family for a while, and it really showed just how amazing they are when I was at my worst. Everyone was saying kind words and there was even talk of tC Version 3.0, coming sooner than planned. Even as I was talking to MrC, he told me that accidents are part of racing, and while it sucked it happened, the car WILL be back, and it WILL be faster, stronger, and better.

Currently we are trying to repair the car for the VIR Event with GT live. Its going to be a close call with all the work that needs to be done.

well, i have to say, this is sort of sour grapes for me since it is about a year ago that p-tuning and i had our lsd incident, but they did build one heck of a car, and did really good today, and just two weeks ago, my tc was looking similar to that as i was run into by a deer while on my way to work (smashed headlight, bumper and fender)

but it is nice to hear you guys are making lemonade and planning to take this as a time to go back and come up with ways to make your car even better than it was before. i look forward to seeing what they make of it. (maybe you should do what i did and put some 08 headlamps on it LOL)

glad the driver was okay and set some blazing times today, there is always next year, take what you learned today and use it to improve in the future.

Guys, Thanks for the support, and again I'm sorry. The Car WILL be back on track, but the question as always is when.

Again, PTuning is 100% committed to having the FASTEST modified fwd car in the country. While this is a major setback I know they will be doing anything possible to get the car up and running for VIR.

Ross, man, glad you are ok after that. I shed a tear for the PTuning car. Cars are replaceable though. Glad to see you guys still took home 1st though. 2nd to rado and only by 2 secs is pretty good given what Rado has in that car.

Keep us updated for sure. Hope I see you at VIR.
