Chris did come over and lend his support, as well as let us know if we need any parts. Chris really is a cool guy, and it showed when he gave us parts, and gave us his support after the accident.

Before i begin, I would like to thank our sponsors for helping make this happen:
Progress Technology for their awesome coilover setup and swaybars. This weekend we were running a larger 1" Progress rear sway bar and heavier front springs to work with our new Toyo R888 285/30/18 tires.
Seibon Carbon for their CF hood and decklid. The hood was still holding up until of course the little mishap on Sunday.
Hawk Performance for their awesom3 DTC-60 racing pads that provided consistent and awesome stopping power.
Toyo Tires for their ultra sticky and competitive R888 racing tires.
Phillip from Mackin Industries for getting us the new Advan Racing RZ 18x10s wheels that we were runnning in the front.
Lustine Scion for loaning us a brand new, fully loaded Toyota Tundra 4x4 limited to hall the ptuning tC. This truck is Awesome, period. A special thanks to Keith from Lustine for setting this all up and helping us throughout the weekend.
Ross Miller, our driver, for pulling some ridiculous lap times even with a motor that was running on 3.5 cylinders. He managed to limp the car in without incident on Saturday's practice when one of the front hub broke during practice. And of course we had a bit of bad luck in the carousel on Sunday when the car flew into the tire wall, but that's the risk invovled with racing. We're just glad he's ok and managed to walk away from the accident--car parts can be replaced, body parts can't.
Thanks to my Ptuning crew for making the car such a success. They were all up til 3AM replacing the broken hub.
I would also like to thank Chris Rado and his crew from World Racing for coming over to our tent and offering to help with anything we might need for our car. We took him up on the offer when we needed a factory axle nut to put the car back together for Sunday's event. They're a class act team.
I will post some pictures of the event once I get the photo's together. But as you all already now, the Ptuning tC had a small encounter with the tire wall on Sunday. Although she's a bit banged up, it's nothing that can't be repaired. Although this incident will make it a bit more difficult for us to make all the changes we wanted to make to the car before VIR, we will try our best to make it to the last Redline Time Attack event at VIR. This gives us only 6 weeks to make it all happen.
On a side note, our friend James, running the Takaka Sti, has a complete footage of the Ptuning tc's little mishap on Sunday. It will be posted on Youtube very shortly--you'll see the tc catching air at over 100mph before the incident in the carousel.
Also forgot to mentioned that we took 1st in Modify FWD and 2nd in Unlimited FWD. Our time in Modified was over 4 seconds faster than our time last year's. And one our the crew Justine (originally running a turbocharged Scion xA, before the engine expired) managed to place third in Modify FWD driving a loaner Sentra he's never driven before.

first, i want to congratulate you guys for getting 1st Modified, and 2nd place Unlimited. Big ups to Rado's team for helping out a fellow tC in need. second, good luck on fixing the car guys. hope you all the best. you guys can do it. its nothing that a little clay bar and wax will fix those. ;) oh and WOW on running 18x10 up front. im planning on running that on the rear but damn, up front!!!! damn! :D
This weekend was extremely eventful. Many late nights and planning, high hopes...
Although we had mishaps we walked away unscathed which is the most important thing.
I want to thank P Tuning first and foremost, love being a part of the team and it's an honor to be an employee and a friend of all of you. I've learned so much working at a quality shop and it goes directly into my car as well.
I want to thank Lustine Scion for sponsering me, they went above and beyond for what they provided me and P Tuning with for this past weekend.
I want to thank Ross for letting me drive his BMW until I get my motor swapped out, that is very gracious of you. We work well together as a whole team, good things are gonna come.
I want to thank Zack M. for letting me drive his AWSOME Nissan, unfortunatly my motor let go when I switched to race boost setting on Sunday... my xA was extremely well set-up and I was really happy with the handling and grip, peakhold accelerometer recorded 1.10 G's on flat turns and 1.47 G's in the bowl....for an xA that is phenominal! I ran low boost all day Saturday, car was tuned for up to 12psi and i ran 11 on Sunday, unfortunatly the 1.5l motor isnt nearly as stoat as the tC motor. At about 100mph on the strait my motor let go and threw a rod, oil got on my back tires but was able to bring it to a safe stop. Small beans though compared to what Ross went through a few hours later. Zack M. is a Nasa instructor and I autocross with him a lot, he came to me Sunday morning and offered me to drive his car (even before car blew), needless to say I took him up on his offer when my mishap occured
Unfortunatly I didnt even get to practice with his car before the 1st time attack session, so I planned on using the 1st timed session as a practice, but after one warm up lap I realized his car handled VERY similar to my xA so I went for it and got an awsome lap time. I didnt think i was gonna get in the top 3 but pulled it off! That little car hooked up.
We are really focused on preparing the tC to run at VIR, but with just 6 weeks... it's gonna be many many late nights. I have confidence though, and the tC will come back more bad-asz than ever.

Ross definitely had the car up on two wheels when I was in it :D. Not that high, but the whole passenger side definitely popped up.
Justin, I just realized the irony in your name
. Any news on the xA?
