How hard is installation for this ? as far as the lifting of the engine, does it have to be done in the shop professionally or its a minimal lift ?
( i read the manual )

minimal lift and you can do it with basic hand tools

front is really easy to install so the transmission mount

the only tricky one is the rear, tcpete says its easier to get from the top but i say its better from thebottom, when i installed them i took the spipe and midpipe out and removed it from under.

when we did the back on mine we went from the top as well, just gotta take the intake off all the way from the TB.

and yea, lift is minimal, just take a jack and a piece of wood and jack up the engine.

id say the hardest part of the install is pressing out the stock mounts.

hmmmm i think id just go with a engine torque damper since both still have rattle but this has more. i always thought chaning motor mounts would prevent rattles

^^stiffer mounts means vibration gets transfered somewhere else.....i.e the cabin.

from what i remember the rattles werent that bad only at idle. but they are a BIG increase in performance (not hp but performance) over stock AND the ETD, and the ETD cost 4-5 times MORE and those can snap and not work as well. but hey its your money if you wanna go the lazy way out have fun.

You probably don't have the right tools to adjust the ETD either. It's a pain to adjust it.

The mounts brake in after driving about a week, and vibration is minimal. Its pretty much just when your leaving 1st gear driving normal. Btw, those of you that just have the front one installed, after doing the back one the vibration cuts down bigtime.

Thanks for offering the advice and experience. I think there is too much speculation out there about these.

i took my car out today and i have to say, the vibration is waaay less than i thought it would be.

i was judgin it based off of other cars ive ridden in with motor mounts, the tc is waay smoother than my buddies SRT-4.

also it wasnt even intentional but i gave it a little to much gas in 2nd, no wheel hop whatsoever, wheels just kept spinning till i let off the throttle.

i love this mod!
