|Dezod| Energy Motor Mounts
Hey Chris, I got the jump on U bro!!!
What a Pain it the freaking butt! I only got the front one in for the moment. I got the turbo inlet gasket (thanks Paul/Joe) yesterday, along with the mounts. The bracket is really easy to take off, but not the bushing.
I just went to the Lowe's parking lot and got it off the car. U know the bench press display the have in the store? Well, If u didn't, now u know. Boy I walked inside that store like it was my house, grabbed a bottle of white lithium grease and sprayed the sucker up and got the job done on their press display.
I bought the bottle I used though just in case, but it took me about 50 mins to get the job done. 35 of those were spent trying to take the stock one out. I had to use one deep socket to push on the bushing and two short one's to hold the metal bracket.
My review so far:
I HATE idle now, the vibration is unbearable. It vibrates taking off in first and half the vibration in second. Third gear and ahead is a dream though, no vibration whatsoever and drivability is awesome.
With that being said, the car drives sooooo much better. No more jerky jerk when taking off or decelerating. I'm still going to leave it in and see if it breaks in a bit. I was thinking on drilling holes into it and see if it would give it a bit of flexibility. U have to think that these aren't tailor made to everyone's need so, some modification could be made to reach ur goal I guess. Is it possible to drill into poly, without it breaking into pieces over time? Joe what do ya think Joe?
Anyways, the main reason I got them was to give the turbo mani a break, since the down pipe doesn't attach to the block like the stock one.
Paul thanks again for the fast shipping and great service, I am leak free now
The car is running richer now, might have to lean it out a bit.

oh, I knew about it. I just thought it was more of a noise rattle type of vibration. This is more of a solid shake than anything else. But hey, not everyone gets to experience it first hand before buying, that's what trial and error is for. Now I just need to find a way to find my happy medium, maybe by drilling a bit.
I'm sure others feel the same way and if I'm succesful at it, they might give it a try. I just need to find out if I can drill into the material without having issues.

funny u say that ACE, my wife has a tC too so, thank you very much
yeah kev, I guess the cat is out of the bag. I didn't wanted to post anything yet, I guess I just screwed up today huh? So far everything has been smooth, other than fixing up some things with the kit. Chris has been a great help in tuning tips, fixing my oil pressure connection and supplying me with the perfect starter map, my friend Shawn let me install the kit over at his place and gave me a hand for some things. Other than that I installed this bad boy my damn self, NOT RECOMMENDED. I'll post pics later, this is not the right thread.
Sorry Paul!
