Yours will work fine if you have the B&M. The reason why you need that with this rad is that the trans cooler that comes from the factory on the automatics is embedded into the lower portion of the stock rad. We eliminate that with our rad, hence the auto needing it's own cooler.

So since we have a built in tranny cooler and having the bandm tranny cooler..wouldn't the stock rad be better for auto turbos because its like having 2 tranny coolers?

Yes and no. Chances are it is getting better cooling through your B&M if you persay have it mounted in the front upper grill where it gets a lot of exposure to cooler air as apposed to through you Intercooler, through your A/C condenser and through the rad itself.

Yah I have it mounted on the rad to the left part of the upper grille..so ur saying as long as its mounted correctly..that the race rad will benefit more

The race rad will benefit your overall motor with lower, cooler, coolant temps.
