Default 07 to an 06

i have a 07 tc and want a stage 0. i read many posts about the differenct between an 07 and 06. is the only difference the MAF? cause if it is then it wouldn't be that hard just to fund a new intake pipe that will fit the 07. because i found an 06 stage 0 for sale.

id say you'd be better of with your current motor, and a kit for an 07...

the maf is different, but also if you do engine management, the 2006 and 2007 ECU are different...

plus on the 07 you have oil jets to help cool the internals better.

just spend a little more and get an 07 kit, less headaches.

http://www.dezod.com/pd_dezod_motorsports_signature.cfm 07 5-Speed

http://www.dezod.com/pd_dezod_motors...nsmissions.cfm if you have an automatic.

if it says 05-06, there is a reason why it doesnt say 07.... if its not made for your year, you are just risking a lot of problems using it.

since you have an 07, get parts for your 07, simple as that.

Ill chime in here since i have ACCURATE information.

The ZPI turbo kits ( THE ONE IN QUESTION ) will fit any year tC. ZPI changed only one thing, and thats the MAF sensor flange on the MAF pipe. Everything else fits the same. Sure the ecu pinout is different, but get yourself an emanage, have a tuner install it and tune it, and you will have no problems.

You will have to change the flange though.

I parted out my stage 1 to someone looking to upgrade his stage 0. So im left with a stage 0 with about 6k miles on it. The sales in my sig, or you can PM me if you are interested.

If you have any other questions regarding the kit, let me know. I can shed some light on the matter.
