i am high considering a s/c as well so my cars resale value will still be pretty high (lol), and i will still get to keep my warranty on it. only downfall of the new s/c is the price tag. wish there was a way to take of the lock bolt and put on the 9.5psi pulley without damaging it.

Yes my friend is a scionlife member. He doesn't post much. His car is getting fix now at the dealership. I will tell him to post something up. Oh yeah the Dealership that install his supercharger last year put a 07 supercharger on his 2006 tC. I will ask him if they gave him the run down.

he has a 2006 tc??

that means he still has a 2005-2006 S/C on his 06 tc which means its the $2000 one on TRD sparks,

were talking about the $3000 S/C that goes on 07-08 tCs

so i guess that means that no one has found any problems yet

He had a 2007 supercharger on his 2006 scion tC. He didn't have a 2006 superchager on his scion tC it's was a 2007 supercharger. I'm going to tell him to post something up for you guys. The Dealership order the wrong year of the supercharger model ( which was the 07 supercharger) and put it on his car (which is a 2006 scion tC) Anyway. He had it on for a year.

he wouldnt have been able to use the 07 S/C on his 06, different brackets, different maf, different tune, different airbox, etc etc

no way they would make that big of a mistake

even though its an 07 S/C bought in 07, its still made for the 05-06 years

the car cess is referring to is mine

the supercharger that was put on my car had the lock bolt on it and new mounting bracket from what the dealership told me

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...459&highlight=

this is the situation so far

but i'm almost positive they gave me a wrong part and that's why it broke on me

Wow dude thats total BS they havent given you aloaner car. You have been without a car for 2 months and its there fault. Mna i would call Scion corporate and _____ someone out. I would be yelling at the manager of the dealer. They are royally screwing you man. I woulda like blew up the delaership by now if they didnt give me my car back and a loaner for all the time i was down. Geez im pulling for ya.

but my strongest suggestion is dont go supercharged

it almost seemed like the tensioner was too tight

and the other thing is that when i had that supercharger replaced with a new block the first time i asked woburn toyota if they had reflashed the ecu and they told me no, i questioned them thinking they would probably know best whether or not they should or should not have to

so not only did they put in the 07 s/c in the 06 tC, they didn't even reflash the tC that had a new s/c with a new block

but regardless, the car is now at braintree and i finally got a loaner, just cant wait til i get my car back now and braintree is doing it the right way
i saw the s/c being installed and its the right one this time
