Just looking for any numbers that people may have on s'c and turbo tc's at the track. I'm interested in getting some form of forced induction, but would like some numbers if any are available.

This had been posted numerous times so I'd take a look at older threads or search.

I made 1 pass last year on drag radials. It was at 8.5psi, with my sound system, the wastegate was plumbed back into the 2.5" exhaust, I had a Cat on the exhaust, full body kit and spoiler on a Turbnetics T3/T04B turbo. I ran a 13.8@103mph with 32psi on the front tires (forgot to deflate on the first pass, was worried about other things). I then let out air for the second pass, down to 23psi, and snapped an axle because of the new clutch/DR combo.

Needless to say, with my higher boost, new down pipe (open dump on the WG), cat-less downpipe, new engine management, new FMIC, and hopefully more traction, I can easily hit 12s with the sound system in (20 speaker system, 4 12s).

I do know ZPI has hit 12s on their car on more than 1 occasion so I'm not stealing light from them. S/C cars are typically getting low 15s, I think some have hit high 14s, just can't recall for sure. Turbo is the way to go if you're more track orientated. S/C just does not put out comparable power.

I ran a 14.336 with $400 worth of mods with the sc an junk tires. Going again with some good rubber in thenext few weeks, and adding an intake / exhaust hopefully should net me a 14 even. Not bad for the "slow uncomparable trd supercharger" All I had was a megan header and s-pipe and an nst pulley on 18" wheels with crappy 512 falkens at 30 psi on a stock clutch with 1/2 tank of gas. Not knocking a turbo setup, they are awsome! Just happy with the sc, no one gives the sc the credit they deserve.

Just out of curiousity, we know the "shop" cars on here have all run 13somethings..... but what are most turbo scion owners that post on here running?

13s seem doable with the SC, just a matter of time in my opinion.

if the driver sucks. you can hit 15.1 without forced induction using only bolt ons.

I'm pretty sure if you have the traction and are supercharged, mid-low 14s are easily possible.

I agree.. if you have a supercharger and you're running in the 15s still, you REALLY need to learn how to drive.

I would like to see these numbers complied into one thread. I think we maybe onto something here. These shop cars are putting out good numbers, what about the people who bolt these kits on?

probably half a second-1 second more than the shop cars.

Remember, shop cars are just that, shop cars. They can do whatever they want to them as a write-off for marketing and whatnot. They've probably had at least some engine work done in the form of pistons and piston rings. 24 hour dyno access, years of engineering experience and all that gravy.

not just some random mid 20s enthusiast with money to spend like most of us :p
