Default 20tCDude05's 500WHP Build

Well boys, I decided to turbo the tC again. I used to have a Dezod S1 Turbo Kit with open dump wastegate (NEVER AGAIN) and it was destroying my engine bay. Destroyed the radiator fans and A/C wiring. Costed me $2000 to fix, so I took it off and sold it before it did more damage, but now I am having boost withdrawals. I made 259WHP and 287WTQ at 9 lbs. This time I plan on going the full 9 yards. However, do I buy another Dezod S1 kit brand new WITH dump tube or custom made a piece it together kit with Dezod and PTuning's help? If I go custom, it HAS to be cheaper than Dezod's S1 kit. My friend with a 1000WHP Prelude is making custom manifolds and has opened a shop a hour away from me. So, what should I do? I will be using this thread to update throughout my progress with pictures and such, so no threadjacking please guys. So, any suggestions on the custom turbo kit? I am planning 500WHP by the way.

go custom if you have the right guys to do it or if you can do it yourself.. seems like the ptuning kit will be the bolt on kit that can get you to your goals..

PTuning's kit costs a lot more than the Dezod Kit, HOWEVER, they have way more features, such as 3" downpipe, which will match their 3" turbo back exhaust system, and a lot more. But, I am not sure if I would like their 50mm Tial BOV. Plus, are they even selling it yet? Would it fit the Kaminari Hood?

yeah it will fit the kami hood! dezod kit might be a lil short if not maxed out at 500 hp and you might have to modify it anyways..

S1 used to be offered with "open dump" but that downpipe was discontinued approx 1 year ago (if not more). ALL S1s since are recirculated dumps.

The customer had a choice between recirc and non recirc. Now all are recirc and it's just a matter of catted or non-catted

So, there is no way to get a dezod kit with open dump anymore? Can your signature kit have open dump?

If you ordered the signature kit, sure we can make it with open dump, but you must build your own dump tube.
