where is everyone getting there blocks to build from... I cant find one any where Ive checked all the junk yards in and around the twin cities

there are a handful listed on car-part.com in WI ... a bit of a drive for us in the twin cities... but not the end of the world. You may want to try on there.

I actually bought those. I got the sleeved block, built head, cams, and internals from MightyGnu.
