Let's review shall we? The website.
What it says on the website.
The BC stroker kit for the Scion/Toyota 2AZFE engine incorporates a 106mm stroke, steel billet crankshaft. Depending on bore size that you decide, the BC kit will take you up to a 2.7L with a safe 90mm bore (Darton sleeved block). The 2AZFE kit utilizes premium steel billet connecting rods. As usual, each BC kit features custom CP or JE pistons, wrist pins, full ring pack and buttons.
for the past few years I have been trying to help give good info to SL - the people that have the wrong information, help them and give them the correct info. People like yourself that have truth's really help the site and users build good knowledge.

B_Real45 - I took what you said completely out of context. Miscommunication on my end, sorry about that. I do agree that it would be much nicer to have a larger block to work with as far as increasing bore size. It's just too bad there is no way to fit anything larger into the car without ripping out the back seats and turning the tC into a mid-engine car. If you do that, you might as well throw an LS1 or an SBC back there.
Haha! Oh man, brining back memories of old plans with that line.
For me, regardless, I would go for the 2.7 conversion with the stage 3 n/a cam and higher compression pistons. Possibly increase revs by 500 rpms over stock just to stay extremely safe, even though it may be possible to 'safely' take it well beyond that. Say, maybe up to 7.5k or 8? Ok, probably not 8k....
I guess my opinion of this site comes from the majority user base that was here about a year ago, maybe more than a year ago. I remember a few freinds that had joined, Engi, lo bux racer, and a few others, were criticized and a couple were eventually outcast from the community because they tried to educate people.
One good example is the lightened crank pulley fiasco. I won't even give my opinion on that mess.
Maybe things have changed. I've been looking around little by little over the past few days and it seems to have quieted down a little bit from the mess that was here a year ago. I may stick around to try and educate, I will admit that I have alot of learning to do as well still, I'm not a know it all. I do however, demand reasons and hard facts. Probably like you do. That is, only if I can't find the answeres myself.
What the heck am I doing over here in the F/I section anyway. Back to lurking.

Well some a 3" will be necessary above 400whp, other than that, your just sacrificing low end TQ.
The first exhaust restrictions you will meet are the cams, head, turbo manifold and turbine wheel BEFORE you even have exhaust restriction.
Paul, I'd like to thank you and Dezod publicly for selling these cams for cheaper than what the company making them is selling them for, so....
Thank you Dezod / Paul.

so if i were to order a N/A stage 2 cams, with only header-back exhaust, intake, pulleys....what else would be needed for normal operation? (upgraded fuel injectors, piggy-back computer, fuel pump, high octane gas, colder plugs) just wondering if any of these, all, or additional parts are needed. Also would the stock internals handle N/A applications, or would the pistons and beams need to be upgraded and what compressions for an N/A setup with the most gains?

I think what he is saying is that most N/A guys dont' have any sort of fuel management, so if he were to get this, would he also need some sort of fuel management, and if so, which...is the aem f/ic good enough?

he got a cam, and its now as fast as my tC
this is looking good. maybe in a few years when the price comes down and all kinks and bugs are worked out.
