Default 3.5 LBS of boost in 2nd gear?

alright, well i have a supercharger with a cyberdyne digi boost gauge. my problem is that at redline in second gear i only reach 3.5 Lbs. of boost, 4.5 in third, and 5.7 in 4th. I have never looked at the boost gauge when going over 120 so i dont know that number. what is the problem or is it normal? I am really thinking of just getting the forge and the 9.5 LB pulley but will i then see the 9 LBs of boost that I want or will it be lower in the lower gears. I have my gauge tapped from the vaccum line coming off of the top of the bypass valve; is there another line to tap that will give me a better reading? Also, there is another T fitting strait down the line from where my gauge is tapped, but im pretty sure thats on all of the SCs. could that cause a lower reading? What do you guys think?

your bypass valve doesn't read boost that well, in fact its one of the worst places to put it... You should be tapping into the throttle body for prime performance of a boost gauge. Thats what I've always been told...
