i DD 8 psi before this now im at 9 and make 300 plus.. its all in how safe and efficiently you are making that power IMO.

 

Hey just cause someone else is running 14psi doesn't mean its safe, lol.

I've seen more than that, but on race gas =)

I guess I just like keeping my car conservative.

Right now i'm on 8 low boost.

Gonna get tuned for 12 high boost.

I could try for more. But i'd rather not risk it until I get internals.

 

Resonator is your best friend, lol.

If you want to save money.
Once you get the turbo kit put on. Go to a reputable exhaust shop, and have them make you an exhaust.

Since your shooting for 300+ have them make you a 2.5 exhaust.

Preferably, don't get the piping done Crush Bent style. Because it will restrict airflow. Which is bad.

Get it done, Bead Rolled or something similar. I forgot what its called. Someone else chime in =p

If you want a proven exhaust system. Get one from ptuning or dezod, or one of those reputable ones, people on here *drool* over, lol.

i have the dezod 2.5 s pipe back turbo exhaust and love it!! silent under normal driving conditions and screams at wot!! i think the word you were looking for was mandrel bending for the exhuast!! haha

You're in FL, you don't need cats.. unless you're environmentally conscious.

It also has to do with the type of metal they are using.

Cheap sh!!t is more prone to damage. Rusting, blah blah blah.

$160, for a full exhaust. Is a heck of a deal. If it was mandel bent then it really was an over the top deal.

If you care about it. Then just get a hi-flow cat. If not, then just run straight piping like the rest of us, lmao.

You could get a muffler, but that adds on to the price tag.

We're all under the impression that you're on a budget. If you are, don't get it. If your not on a budget, then do get one =)
