what clutch would you use for 400whp?

hell no!! go stage 5 which is rated at 400 or act maxx extreme clutch which is rated at 645trq.

well its been lasting for bret and hes over 400whp!

 

some seem to be doing well with their CM stage 4 even though is not rated for that much or is it? As far as I know u could get both ACT xtreme (504tq/lb) and maxx extreme (553tq/lb) with full face modified street disc. Great for daily driving.
I have ACT HD (390tq/lb) full face modified street disc, so far so good. (knock on wood) These are all sprung BTW, not sure if they can be ordered solid. I know the 6 and 4 puck u can.

I would advise against that ACT one. The super upped pressure plate load will cause a horrid pedal and possibly crank walk.

Hold out for a twin disc.

 

Paul I got a question 4 ya. How does the pressure plate causes crank walk? I could imagine the stiffer pressure plate causing problems down the road to the TOB, but what else?

 

thats what i ordered from DON. he said it wasnt so bad the pedal feel. and i got a 6puck unsprung.

oh well this clutch will be put on this saturday i got the max extreme 6 puck unsprung rated at 645trq! if my motor crank walks the car will go back to stock and sold! lol
