AEM FI/C...trouble with throttle body *Need help*
Response from AEM:
Just to clear things up….
The DBW unit in the engine bay “hums” with the key OFF ?
What about with the key ON?
Does the car still function normally even with the “hum”?
Now, remove Pin 6 from the 22pin plug at the FIC which is the TPS input wire. See if the “hum” continues.
Please make sure all the questions above are answered so we can move forward. This is a very strange issue that I’ve never seen before but obviously if the DBW is making noise that means its getting power or ground from somewhere.

The noise is a standard noise that is on every Scion tC. It happens when you turn the car to the "ON" posistion on the ignition. Then you turn the car off and it shuts off. Only mine does not.
So yes it does it with the key ON.
As far as I know the car still functions normally even with the "hum of the throttle body" except for the fact that it kills my battery.
And where do I find pin 6 from plug 22 and how do I remove it without breaking or screwing up my nice plug n' play harness?

Pin 6 is located on the bottom row of the 22 pin connector, counting from the right, 6 spots going left. It appears smack dab in the middle of the harness (with the little clip/prong that on the top) in the bottom row looking at the wire side of the cable connector.
Check your turbo thread you made earlier. I responded to it.
I will be making a suppliment kit to fix the problem. All auto tCs will have this issue with the FIC. It's a quick and inexpensive fix I will release next week. You and browndogg will receive the kit for free.

Also, AEM said we could realisitcally just remove the TPS wire, but the FIC would not log TPS at all and see it. In all, that is an easy fix and considering all of the tuning is done via boost pressure, it will work.

That would be the solution. Remember to keep things simple only use what is necessary.
