What is a good air fuel ratio while boosting 8lbs of boost?

Are you just trying to verify everything is in check, or are you trying to tune the car yourself? If you are, theres ALOT more to look at than just AFR. And all things affect each other, so you cant just focus on one or another. If all youre trying to do is verify the tune on the car is in a safe range, on stock engine on pump gax 11.x:1 would be considered safe. If its in the 10's its too rich and may cause misfire. 12.0:1 and above is getting dangerous and could cause engine failure on stock motor. Some folks say theyve had good luck in the low 12:1's but youre really gambling.

I say mid to upper 11s should be good for 8 lbs.. low 12 is good for power but remember our motor is not built for boost and to withstand that kind off heat.. so if you have longevity in mind stay on the 11s with good ignition timing to dialed..

Yeah just verifying. Thanks for the info guys n to the folks that are of no help...thanks for wasting your time.

I'm getting a retune soon just wanna see what other folks numbers are at. Mines in the 10's when I hit boost. I think that's too rich so gonna take to the shop and get it dyno tuned.

I have run 12.0 afr at 8lbs. for a couple years now with no problems. I don't recommend any leaner than this for 8lbs thoe. Richer is always safer, but leaner is meaner. Make sure there adjusting your timing when you get your tune.
