Default all4degame's RE-BOOSTED! See PG 62

TurboToyotas Stage 1 V2.1
550cc Denso Injectors
2 Step Colder Plugs
Emanage Blue
TT Spipe
PTuning Exhaust
Defi Boost and Oil Pressure gauge
AEM Wideband
Energy Motor Mounts

First and foremost, I want to thank my buddy clay for helping me out install this project over the course of the past three days install all this stuff. We have everything done except getting the downpipe to fit. I think we're going to have to hammer it a bit more because it is rubbing against the pil pan. It is a nightmare right now trying to get the dp, sp, and ptuning exhaust to line up right. This project is incomplete until next weekend because of school. I will write more on this thread tomorrow, i'm tired as hell from vacation and the install.

Thanks Todd for coming through!

Ptunings exahust sits perfect like OEM fit so if yours is hanging low then you have it upside down.

Ace, i'm going to have to figure something out next weekend. Right now, the dp is rubbing against the pan, badly. I think i'm going to have to take a hammer to it and do some work.

im sorry that you have to bend the pipe but you shouldnt have.. all i did is cut the section of the downpipe before it makes the 90 deg bend.. then installed the downpipe only and then drove to muffler show and the had it rewelded to exact fit.. the last pic i posted is where i cut the pipe and have a a vband connection done so the pipe can pivot left to right..

and oh i think you ptuning is mounted the other way around, look at my pic on the muffler.. the muffler section should connect to the rear section of the exhuast, remove the factory metal bracket coz it will get in the way

Kevin-

I don't know what happened to the Dp( same with aces)

Without allot of BS, I am in the process of building a dp you will not have to modify.

It wont be coated but hopefully done tomorrow so I can get it there by friday sir.

Regards-

Todd

Ace, where can I pick up a flex joint like you have there up?

Todd, thank you sir, a new dp would be excellent, otherwise, it think i'll be making this 3" dp into a 2" dp by beating on it. lol I really have no idea what in the world is wrong with it, but it is rubbing hardcore up on the pan, and it is struggling to bolt up to the TT spipe because the flange is so close to the subframe.

A few things to note, the rear motor mount was a freaking nightmare to take off and put back on. With some advice from Carlos (Carlanga, thanks by the way man), my buddy clay, some missing skin from my finger, and a cheater bar, we manage to pry to align the motor back into place to get the rear motor mount back on. It ended up shifting overnight and was way out of alignment. For future reference, if anyone wants to save about 6-7 hours of frustration, take it to a shop. lol It was a task running around town to get someone that would be willing tp press the mounts in. I got the front one pressed in for free back in december, but ended up paying 60 bucks to have the rear and side pressed in. Its all said and done now though. All I have to do now is wire up my gauges and somehow get the dp and sp to meet up with my ptuning exhaust.

Yes, you installed the exhaust upside down and backwards. The brackets for the muffler section should be pointing down then to the front of the car.

Thanks Jon, I'll fix that when I get home on friday. Btw how are you enjoying your new eclipse?

Oh, side now. My car his HELLA raked in the front now with all the weight in the front. Hopefully it will catch traction alot better now. lol. I may end up having to get coilovers because it looks slightly odd.

Its all good man, its in now. That rear motor mount had everyone cussing and screaming. It was not pretty. lol That was the hardest part so far, and it wasn't even turbo related. Right now, the dp is looking to be the next 'rear motor mount type issue'. I foresee a lot of cussing and screaming, and use of the BFH and a few big swings. lol
