talk to geoff at nurspec he will help you out he is amazing trust me he will point you in the right direction

and my clutch failure was "due to driving it on the street" so they said i was like how does that equate to if i had my 9.5 inch wide slicks up front and dumped it on the track since it couldnt handle the 225 street tires

I can prolly get you a stock motor with 4-6k on it for $900 - youll have to meet the people to pick it up - the guy and his wife that own the scrapyard in dallas love to come up to the winstar at exit one in oklahoma - itd be about a 3 hr drive for you and youd need a truck or suv - he keeps the motor on a pallet (half-size) which fit in my explorer perfectly fine

Finally back in the states after a week long cruise with the fam. I'm still stuck in Houston at the bush airport til 430 or so. Been missing internet and cell phone service like crazy. LOL. Project turbo bunny is going to meet dsconstruction tomorrow. I feel refresh to take on the project now. So who wants a turbo kit?

lol....thanks guys....lol

oh btw kev i was looking around at some 370z...msrp is 28k (base model) and could prolly get it cheaper...waiting to see what the 350z are doing...just a thought...

the only downside to a 350 is most turbo kits for it use a scavenger pump for the oil return for the turbo...iv seen one at my tuner whos pump failed on him and the turbo went to crap. made a nice fog machine...lol

Not too much buddy, just trying to get back in the groove. I had a good vacation last week.

I got word from my mechanic.

2AZ with 10k miles $1900 shipped from CA to OK.

Install $900

All I have to do is take all my turbo stuff off, put my oem parts in a box, and have the car towed to him. He can take it from there. Fast, clean, simple, and easy.

The mechanic also told me I had another option.... try to pull a warranty out of it... He pitched to me an elaborate plan, but I'm not sure if I can do that though. Kind of against my morals to try to pull off a free motor after I messed this one up with my turbo kit. I don't think I can do it, as the saying goes.. what goes around comes around.

What do you guys think though?

honestly i dont think the turbo had much if anything to do with the low oil pressure bro...im being serious but a dealer wont see it that way and try to just give you the brush off, so it kinda leaves one with no other option but to lie about it.

What is this about Cory?

And chris, i'm not sure if I can get away with a warranty on it. I'm just trying to debate if all the effort in trying to scheme my way into a free motor will be worth it. I think i'll have some serious bad karma if I try to. More opinions?

ok then tell the dealership the truth then....im not saying its cool to lie about the ish but they damn sure will lie their ___ off to you in order to keep from paying any warranty work...in all honesty just tell them the truth, shouldnt need to tell them about the kit because that wasnt the cause of the low oil pressure.

have you guys cracked the engine appart?

if you guys find its the oil pump then man i dont see why you need to tell them ish except that their oil pump failed after xxxxmiles and something needs to be done about it asap. thats all you need to tell them. tell them anything els and that just gives them an excuse.

i dont promot trying to cheat a dealership and this i dont think is cheating anyone.
