I've held my patience long enought but no this is getting really annoying. I'm tired of hearing and reading about people getting their stuff after waiting a few months but yet Im waiting over a year after spending 6k and still nothing. All I keep getting is false dates. Patience is really starting to run thin
you're getting a twin scroll right?

how much does that cost?
i spent about $5800
so he has 5800 of your money right now?

how much is a twin scroll manifold though?
not sure to be honest. i originally paid 4299 for the stage 2 kit then the price to upgrade that he offered was 1500 so i couldnt resist. i had some personal issues where my fiance totalled her car so i couldn't pay the 1500 right away until i got her situation resolved. I believe i completed that payment in april.

There are only 3 who have nothing and that because one wants everything at once (his decision) and the other Chris (cwatz) all the parts I do not make are all sitting here in a box. And the other is still paying for his kit, which I do not want the balance until its 100% complete (but all the parts I do not make are also in a box waiting)

??? I understand about the parts that you dont make but im a little lost on that last sentence.

I think the word will get around soon enough and he'll start being affected.

Trust me I wish...

cause if I was sitting on 20k I would have given everyone there money back months ago.

( I lost over that in a lawsuit this summer...one of your fellow peers decided to run his kit without fuel management and blew his motor.....I was found at fault and had to pay for a new motor install from Scion.)

Let me elaborate on something.....I hope some actually read this but its more for my peace of mind.

I am the smallest shop(too my knowledge) in the community.

I do not stock allot of product...just the small stuff. (lines, fittings, couplers, clamps, hardware etc, raw material)

When someone purchases a turbo kit from me, wether its paid in full, 50% up front/50% at completion or a worked out payment plan.

The money goes to parts of the turbo kit....I buy the turbo, wg, bov, and IC right away.

Which in the past I shipped as soon as I could (split up the shipments)

Then the hardparts where scheduled and paid for.

Those who are still waiting most of them have allot of the parts already

There are only 3 who have nothing and that because one wants everything at once (his decision) and the other Chris (cwatz) all the parts I do not make are all sitting here in a box. And the other is still paying for his kit, which I do not want the balance until its 100% complete (but all the parts I do not make are also in a box waiting)

So for those who think I have all this money, and when they ask where did my money go, well it went to the parts you ordered. The parts I do not make once ordered (turbo, wg, bov, air filter, intercooler, couplers/clamps etc) cannot be returned by me to there manufacturers. Its a downside to having a small business but its reality.

Just trying to shed some light on things.........

Regards-

Todd

Not being an **** or anything Todd, just have a legitimate question. If the money is going to purchasing the turbo, wg, bov, etc... What benefit are you providing to the customer? People can do that sort of thing themselves. So, it's like having a middle man for no reason, unless I'm missing something. If everything else is not done by you and other manufactures, only thing that leaves is the manifold which obviously would have to be bought through you. Makes sense that if you want a TurboToyotas kit, to just buy the manifold and everything else directly from the sources. You would for sure be able to keep up with manifold orders no problem.

Well Todd I'm glad you agree that we have reasons to be mad. And I'm glad someone got there moneys worth dealing with you, even still, I'm sure it was more a waste of their time than anything (in regards to you being taken to court). Its cool that you took it upon yourself to try..keywords TRY...to make quality parts and be of another source to buy products from, but you really do need some more help or something. To have multiple people complaining about not receiving things in a timely matter, thats pretty bad.
Why would you continue to take orders and peoples money knowing it will take a while for the product to get shipped out? Why wouldnt you just say their product will be started and when its nearing being finished, take money at that time.
And my biggest problem was not being able to get any sort of response from you. I literally tried every type of communication with you and it ALL failed. I emailed you via your website, PMed you through ScionLife, called you, texted you, etc. When you have someone money in hand, and their waiting for something, you should at least respect them and give them a call to answer their questions. Thats the part that aggravated myself the most.
I held my tongue long enough, well until I got my part back, but now I'm in no fear of not getting anything back, so I'm letting you know how I feel.

His kits are bought then the bold process starts. It's always been that way.. He's not a large company like dezod hat has kits paid for and on the shelf.. Not excuse, that's why you pay then the kit is begun to be made.

They want to purchase a kit, so I provide all the parts....no different than dezod, zpi, ptuning, etc.

Plus I get either the same price or better than most large parts suppliers, so actually I am able to offer a better price on those items when packaged in a turbo kit.

So what is your point?

Makes sense that if you want a TurboToyotas kit, to just buy the manifold and everything else directly from the sources. You would for sure be able to keep up with manifold orders no problem.
That is always an option, as I was selling allot of manifolds and downpipes.

The stuff I do not make wasn't an issue it was the fabricated parts that created a problem.

Plus if you only buy certain parts from me, there are others that will have to be made. (chargepipes)

Just cause I might not stock 10 wastegates or blowoff valves or 10 turbos doesn't mean anything. I have sources very close too me (20-30 minute drive) that have them. Why invest that money(when I had it) on that stuff when it can be invested elsewhere? Material testing, dyno testing, ic design, etc.

And again its all about pricing....I do not "*****" stuff out, but I can be very competitive. It perks of my experience and being small.

Regards-

Todd

Rythmnsmoke your are seriously the biggest starter of trouble on this website. You do nothing but poke your nose in on other peoples threads and start drama. Im sure you must feel like a total badass being 35-40 and driving a turbo car. But your a complete tool bag. Find something else to do aside from troll a message board and tell people how to run THEIR business.
