Default Another problem... Now with my BUILT tranny..

This is the message i sent LevelTen this morning...

OK, well we ran into a problem.. a pretty big one.. so we start street tuning my car, i broke the tranny in with 1k miles off of boost.. so we tune it first off of the wastegate which is 6 PSI which would put me at like 240 wheel.. i floor it for WOT and notied when the shifting came there was a weird noise which was kinda like the noise my old tranny had when it "slipped". So were like hmm thats weird and we didnt no so we cranked the boost to 10 lbs.. estimated 280 wheel.. we floor it for WOT tune and the tranny would bounce off the rev limiter on a 3 outta 4 shifts about 2-4 times and then finnally go into gear, so were like .. maybe the tranny since it was built for 400 block works at its best around the power level it was made at so we cranked it to 15 PSI estimated 350-360 wheel and boy did it hit the rev limiter 4 times each shift and then finnaly go into gear..... Now, if i go half throttle or a little more and hold 10 lbs like that.. it will shift perfect.. but at WOT it hits the redline and bounces.. if i let go of the gas right before it hits the redline it will shift after like 2-3 seconds and then i can floor it again but i cant imagine you guys building a tranny where i would have to let off the gas. Do you have any idea why this is occuring?

Now i also asked Paul-Dezod if having a manual harness for the greddy blue could cause something like this... My tune is immaculate.. 11.2 at 15.2 psi Holding at WOT.. i think it could be something that has to do with the wiring or a speed sensor or something.. maybe because it is a manual harness its confused? lol

Is this an automatic or manual? The way you make it sound its an automatic, I don't know much about tC's automatic transmissions. If you were talking about some automatics the delay would be not enough pressure to shift or the modulator valve is bad. Now, if this is a manual do you have a lightweight flywheel? I just noticed something in your post there is no way you can use a manual wiring harness on a automatic transmission the required wiring will not be there. If I were you I would buy an automatic harness from a junk yard for a tC and not use what you currently have on there.

Watching. My .02 cents would be to get an automatic harness anyways just to see if it helps, but I really have no idea at all.

Manual transmission will only have wires for two sensors reverse and speed sensor this is the only thing that may be the same between and automatic or manual. Automatic transmission will have reverse sensor, vehicle speed sensor, shift solenoid wires, and etc. I have the repair manual on disk if I can find the wiring I will send it to you, so hopefully you can get you car fixed.

It just seems like there isnt enough pressure in the tranny to engauge the shifting in the valve body

Update at more than half throttle holding 12 PSI.. the tranny seems to shift fine.. it only has problems shifting when hitting redline at WOT...
