i have overreved by mistake once ..... i found that after you drive the car for many months and learn how to glide into the gears .... you dont really do things like that.

Very true and I agree completely, I'm just stuck on the fact that many ppl are blowing motors with the SC. But I guess you guys are right about the over revving. That makes sense plus I doubt SCC would say 'o yea we over revved and blew it up' although They should have good drivers over there with all the cars they deal with......I dunno perhaps Ill just save up and build the motor and turbo it (safest route in my opinion) |
Interesting about the s/c car spinning a bearing.. thanks!

Are there really that many blowing their motors? Even if its 3 or 4. I imagine that is only less than 1% off all the supercharged tCs in the United states. Not really that many people... |
I guess that really isnt that many. Perhaps Im just paranoid.

Something I also concidered when gathering info on my tC's own personal issues.. remember.. not all the Scion owners are members of this site.. there might be several who haven't posted issues.. etc.

motors tend to blow after 16psi
