Default ATF Dipstick removal / replacement!

Hey,

As some of you already know, I am going to embark where no one has yet to go before, take a 2006 greddy kit, use a new maf pipe, and run that on my 2007 tc!

Now, the next problem I have to tackle is the ATF dipstick... how did you other auto guys move it / remove it? Because i'm assuming it gets in the way of the charge pipe...

Thanks!

It is a very tight fit -but it can be done. Anyone have pics of Greddy on A/T tC? That's what we need. I've been told the Greddy kit works on the A/T so it has been done before.

I have an 06 auto with the Greddy kit. All I did was unbolt the tranny dipstick and bent it little to the side so the piping wouldn't hit it directly. I have no problems with it.

Is there a bolt maintaining the dipstick in its position? If so, that one. Look for it from top to bottom.

I had to trim off the top of mine to make it fit w/ my kit.
As in... remove the dipstick, use a dremmel to trim off part of the orangish handle, then everything was ok.

There is also a little trick that you can do to get more space.

Remove the top coolant hose and install it backwards. This will give you more space to route the intercooler piping. between the intake pipe and the side of the battery.

There is a bolt on the tranny bend of the dip stick tube . Unbolt it and you will be able to bend of the whole dipstick to the right. So later, if you plan to go back to stock, you can bend it back and bolt it right back up. I didn't have to bend the dip stick too much to mess up anything. If I remember right, there is only one bolt that you will see and you can't really miss it.
