Thank you for clearing that up. I knew Toyota engineer's were smarter than that lol.

Are the toyota dealerships equipped with the program for the automatic trans. reflash? If i install the S/C myself will a dealership perform the ecu reflash for me?

IF they have a re-flash tool I don't see why they wouldn't do a re-flash for you. As long as you DO NOT drive the car you'll be fine. You can either take the ECU to the dealership or overnight it to us and we'll flash it for you. If you drive the car without a re-flash you will void the engine and powertrain warranty no questions asked. So please don't try to be "that guy" and drive it.

i havent been up here in a while...so if im understanding right, the power gain for the auto is proportional to the power gain of the manuals right? for example, say the manuals experience a 40% gain from their stock whp, so we experience 40% of our stock whp?

well that means wed be at the 175whp everyone predicted. at first it was sounding like we would be running the same numbers as the manuals, which would then imply we gain more hp than the manual.

No that doesnt mean you would have 175hp and it doesn't mean you'll have more HP that the manual. It mean that they will have the SAME hp. Most if not all hp ratings that are out for the manual and base on a 4th gear pull. If you're going to test an automatic on a dyno you'll be doing the samething basically.

We won't know real world #'s until someone actually has one installed on a car. So we can all assume whatever it is we want but we won't know for sure until one hits a dyno. Then we'll have a rough idea of the parasitic loss with the auto.

enough cash to pay it off.

I don't like buying a mod if i can't pay for it outright, and I am doing very good about it and thats why my credit is that good.

thats why I said IF i had a card high enough
I am not about to go get one! lol
