Going back to stock tomorrow. when taking out the FIC, what steps are really necessary? just unplug it? also, anyone have a basic guide to removing fuel rail/injectors that i can follow when putting the stocks back in?
thanks in advance

i would unplug your battery before removing your fic and for removing the injectors just take a 12mm socket to the fuel rail bolts then when you are goin to remove the fuel rail have a rag ready for the gas thatll come out. remove and unplug each injector and replace with stock injectors. when you are reconnecting the stock injectors be careful no to pinch the o-rings when seating them into the fuel rail. then line up all the injectors to the corresponding holes in the head and reinstall the fuel rail bolts but make sure the black plastic spacers are still there. when everything is done yoou should be able to rotate the stock injectors with just a bit of force as to know that the injectors are seated right.

need to bump this up. i have pigtails and the stock inj. clips coming in the mail. how would i go about putting the pigtails in the clips i know its gotta be more than crimping wire together i wouldnt trust that
crimp or solder...I prefer solder for all electrical connections but you need to be extra careful when doing something like that around fuel. so your prolly better off using butt splices.
if your using a pnp harness for your fic as soon as you unplug it and take the pnp harness out you have already reset the ecu by doing that.
