I have a TRD exhast, can i add things to it to make it louder? Like a S-Pipe?
I dont really know? If so what are good name brands?

 

if you want louder exhaust, get louder exhaust.

the s -pipe won't make it sound any different i don't think, and replacing the header makes it sound like crap. you can maybe replace the mid-pipe since that will get rid of the cat and the resonator to make it louder.

yes you have to, and any alteration or even changing your cat if its working fine is illegal, but as long as you keep your header you still have your main cat. You want a loud exhaust? then tsudo n1, i just installed it today and its loud. Now im trying to figure out how to make it less louder without using the silencer (it makes it sound winey)

 

when i installed my invidia s-pipe it only made a very small difference in the sound,and no difference in hp,but im going turbo soon and will be using it in my setup.

 

i have a trd exhaust with a megan racing midpipe and it sounds great. i think it sounds perfect, not to loud but you will notice a difference

 

the tanabe concept g sound perfect imo. i suggust peeping out some sound clips on youtube..

 

yup concept g sound perfect but kinda pricey for an axle back

 

this is what I did for a loud exhaust but still quiet enough so that it's not a cop magnet...

The sound can be loud and also can be quiet enough to not attract any cops. It also has a deep/throaty sound and I really like it!!!!

 

My tsudo n1 comes with an 18" resonator maybe im gonna add another 18 or 12" to make it quiet a lil bit

 

axel backs are great for the look/sound quality you'll get from them.. catbacks are the way to go for better exhaust efficiency right.. so any feedback on any of the catbacks that have been released for the tc?

 

I just bought an axel back exhaust for an 05 tC. The exhaust that was on before was only a universal piece and was actually doing damage to the car. I replaced the old one with the new megan, and the exhaust sounds stock. Help me i need advice on how to make it sound atleast a little more grunt out of it.

agreed. tsudo N1 exhaust is LOUD. had one on my rsx. had to replace muffler with an twin loop to quiet it down.

 

Yeah its loud but not too loud, but with you in the car its sounds very loud not but bad at all

trd exhaust is pretty loud to begin wit not OD though add sum dc header to it and it will sound alot better but if u throw the megan header all ur gonna get is a rasp
