BLACK MAMBA Boosted*pics inside*
Hi SL as some of you know i have been collecting parts for my build and its finally complete. A lot of my setup was custom built so i definitely went over my initial budget but overall im pretty happy. Setup was done by M20 motorsports by my boy Luis aka Calabera and the help of yours truly.
Im boosting on wastegate pressure 7.25 which spikes to like 8.9 late in the gear. Car made 255 hp on a mustang dyno aka heartbreaker, for comparisons sake (I really dont care much about numbers) it would have made 293 with the correction that the shop gave me on a dynojet. It was tuned at Krazy House customs in north jersey by Petey turbo and also by the help of Mike aka Mtuned ( thanks a lot) who helped me get to the shop safely. I have the dyno sheet but no scanner lol so no pic of that lol.

Yea I heard these turbos are quite possibly the best bang for the buck out there. How quick does it spool? Im thinking about getting away from my 60-1, Id prefer something with a little more power in the daily driving rpm range lol

I couldn't give you an accurate rpm because my clutch slips it I floor it but even with gradual acceleration I see full boost by around 3700. I don't know if anyone else is using one in a scion but there is not too much room with the hy35 I don't think the bigger brother hx35 would fit, also dependent on manifold choice of course

Haha that was my goal but the profec b2 was not holding boost it was hitting 16 on it with no gain? Maybe a bad solenoid? Anyhow I'm thinking ACT PP and south bend Kevlar disc it should b a strong setup but still driveable

thanks for the comments guys, im hoping to build the motor by spring or at least to have the parts ready so i can have some fun fun. Ill post better pics of the whole setup when it gets a little nicer out, btw anyone around the north jersey area that can lend me a couple of monkey wrenches to raise my car up? it would be appreciated im pretty low and dont want to scrape the ic piping

Thanks dude, yea man i had to make sure i pass emissions but piping is 3" and between hi flow cat and resonator its not that restrictive. Im still getting a cell for cat bank 1 because of the downpipe, ill b putting an antifouler to see if it clears.

NO! LOL the hy35 comes with a little hole there so we drilled a hole, put a metal air fitting there for the wastegate n welded it in place, its kinda hard to see cuz once he welds it he cleans it real nice
