I am goin to get a compression tester but never used one.

Can someone please give me the proper procedure for doing the test without making things even worse?

take out all your spark plugs. I would use the rubber tipped adaptor and shove it over down into the spark plug hole. Have someone crank the engine over about 6-8 times while you press hard holding the compression tested down in over the spark plug hole and you will see the number come up on the compression tester.

Do not have to disable the fuel.. Just take the coils out and make sure they are not to close to your hands as the person cranks *LOL* It hurts. And do not forget to take out all of your spark plugs as you do it, not just one at a time.

I goin to get a 20.00 tester and give it a shoot. I'll keep you posted.

To think all this from racing a stage1 srt-4 with full exhaust and 19psi, from a dig. He jumped on me by 1 car due to his Kumho mx tires but we were neck in neck up about 100mph. We did 2 from a dig and then from a roll. I missed forth going from a roll.

Hoping things are just fine.

Oh, I'm not disputing you. Just asking, cause I have an SRT-4 kill too. I was on 8 PSI during our race.

I'm running with the stock kits tune so I keep at about 9psi. There is a definate difference between 8 and 9psi. I could only imagine 13psi. This was first time I truly ever launched my car. No wheel hop, gota love the Stiffy. After the first run the guy and his flag man were like wtf you scared the sheets out of me. My goodyear f1 gs d3 tires screamed like a madman. These tires suck. They don't sit and spin like the stockers but they are loud. I could not honestly say whos car was faster. This is why I hate street racing. It seemed safe enough in the adbandoned factoy lot we raced in though.

My car seems perfectly fine, but my van did have a flat when I got off my train though

I now have a compression tester. Who wants bet on what the compression will be. I mean what percent differance between cyliners. I bet 5% max and all is well.

Find out in the morning.

OK 165 to 170 psi per cylinder. Is that normal. The gauge I have saves the highest reading so I hope it is not inacurate because its reading the initial burst.

Okay lowest factory setting is 145 so you are okay! Which is great! Your okay bro so maybe the blow by your getting is normal. If compression is okay and your not burning oil then no worries
