at ripp they dynoed my car and with the dezod kit it made 275 whp on 6.2 psi whuch is pretty impresive but my question is y is it not pushing the claimed 8.5 psi everything seems to be fine, they said it might have to do with a spring in the wastegate???

 

I dont think any tC has ever made 275whp on only 6 psi. Was that read from your boost gauge? If so where is it tapped into? Those numbers sound right for a tC running 8.5 psi.

 

What source is telling you your boost level? First of, GREAT HP regardless if it's really 6.2 or even the factory shipped 8. I'd love to see that dyno!

As for the boost... I have 2 different MAP sensors on my tC, and a mechanical Stewart Warner boost gauge. They're all off by a very small amount, the biggest culprit being the Stewart gauge. What number are you gathering that from?

 

It looks to me like those aren't the WHP numbers, but more the hp numbers at the crank

 

I highly doubt they pulled his engine out of the car, hooked it up to a stand and ran it that way

 

hahaha i think the guy read it wrong its more like 7.2 pounds and i will post the sheet somhow it is 261 to the wheels and let me tell u it pulls like a freakin animal. no leaks very clean kit i wanna thank paul and everbody at dezod it has been a pleasure and ripp mods for doing a very clean install and tune by perry.
