So i'm doing my boost gauge and i cannot find a place to run the vacume line into the car. i searched and found nothing usefull. Can anyone help me out with. where to tap the line and where to tap for power for the LED's in the gauge? thanks!

 

okay i got the vacume line ran. i just need help on what i should tap to power the LED's. thanks!

 

ground out the negative (black wire) onto the body of the car somewhere

then for the positive (red wire) mine is tapped into a fuse that only gets power when the car is on (look for the one for accessories).

 

Update. i tapped into the light in the little cubby infront of our shifter. that way my gauge only lights up when i switch my lights on.

 

i would have done it off a switch source off your radio j and to get the boost line in wait till you have you vacuum block but go where the gas pedal wires go out or the clutch line some place like that i just drilled a new hole for all to go out

 

i did. the light doesn't turn on unless my headlights are on.

 

when you went to your radio? and is that how you want it wired?

 

no.... there is a little cubby next to my cigarette lighter. in that cubby there is a light that only comes on when i switch my headlights on. i tapped into that.
