Default Boost Leak Test Thumper

Ok, recently i removed my zpi stage 1 kit to take a trip to michigan from chicago. all went well. ran perfectly stock. i just put the kit back on about 2 weeks ago, and everytime i got into boost i heard a loud whistle. so i decided to do a boost leak test and i heard air escaping out from somewhere near the throttle body, but cant find it with soapy water. i literally sat there for hours trying to find it....im stumped. i checked the TB coupler, brake booster, injector seats....everything. and still nothing. what am i missing??? i blocked off the line going to the VSV, so its not that.

air can escape from the vc vent via the pcv valve (thats if the pcv is gumed up or just worn out). also air can escape from the vsv and into your fuel tank. thats why I plug those two things before a boost leak test. If its not those things i mentioned then you have a leak someplace on the kit or perhaps the valve body is leaking from the flange. Just an idea. good luck!

To the OP... I think I have the same issue... When I go full throttle and build boost its like it will just stop building boost and release the boost that was building. Is that what was going on with yours?
